Assisted Living

Luther Court, together with the Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA), offers housing for seniors and people with disabilities with in-home support services.  The program is offered to clients who need support to live independently but do not require 24-hour nursing care.

To make the program affordable for everyone, Assisted  Living is funded by the Vancouver Island Health Authority in partnership with Luther Court.  The fee is based on a fixed percentage of the monthly income.  This includes the cost of rent, 2 meals per day, light housekeeping, a medical alarm system, social and recreational activities and any personal care that is needed.

Eligibility for the program is determined by a VIHA Home and Community Care Case Manager.  For more information about Assisted Living and other services that are available for seniors and people with disabilities call the VIHA general enquiries line at: (250) 388-2273.
