From Monday to Friday, Luther Court provides a day program for seniors living in the community.

The Adult Day Centre provides opportunities to nurture social connections, stimulate thinking and offer opportunities for physical exercise.  We also provide clients with a nutritious meal and snacks.  We value the input of participants in the program in assisting our staff in making the centre an educational and fun experience.  A day centre also offers a break from the responsibilities of caregiving for the family caregiver.

Participants may access the day centre at Luther Court in two ways:

*  Individuals in the community may contact Vancouver Island Health Authority general enquiries line: 388-2273.  A case manager will assess the individual's needs and provide referrals to appropriate services which may include participation in a day centre.

*  Where a person may not yet be eligible for services offered through Home and Community Care, but is desiring the support that is offered through an adult day centre, arrangements may be made directly with Luther Court to be a private pay client.
